**QUESTION**: What are the best races for my Stamina DPS character?

**ANSWER**: Orsimer/Orc is (at the moment) the best race for stamina DPS with its innate weawpon damage, its max stamina, max health bonus (that allows it to get away with more stamina attributes/certain foods) and sprint speed bonus (for trash). You can still DPS well with other races such as [Khajiit] (falls somewhere in the middle), [Bosmer], [Imperial], [Dunmer] and [Redguard].

**QUESTION**: Why do stamina DPS not use 5-1-1 (5x medium armor pieces, 1x heavy piece, 1x light piece) and use 7x Medium?

**ANSWER**: The Medium Armor passives Dexterity and Wind Walker both scale with the total number of Medium Armor you have. Running 7 medium pieces instead of 5/1/1 like magicka DPS do gives you an [additional 4 percent cost reduction, 8 percent regen, and 3 percent Crit Chance]. This is significant enough to warrant running 7 medium. If you are concerned about health, you can run 6 medium and 1 heavy or spec Attribute points into Health or run bistat food if necessary.

**QUESTION**: What traits do I run on weapons as a Stamina DPS?

**ANSWER**: Nirnhoned on main hand, Sharpened on offhand for all classes [except Necromancer]. Necromancers can run Precise on off hand, so long as your crit chance in execute doesn't exceed 100 percent. For 2-handed builds, Sharpened or Precise are the best options, depending on whether you need Sharpened to hit the penetration cap.

**QUESTION**: What Traits/Enchantments do I run on my armor pieces as a Stamina DPS?

**ANSWER**: You want every piece to be [Divines] and you ideally want all of your armor enchantments to be [Max Stamina] glyphs.

**QUESTION**: What Traits/Enchantments do I run on my Jewelry as a Stamina DPS?

**ANSWER**: Your enchantments on jewelry should always be [Weapon Damage] glyphs. Traits should always be either be [Infused] or [Bloodthirsty]. [Bloodthirsty] will give slightly better results overall, but is highly dependent on execute timing. Bloodthirsty will give you the best results when execute time is longer.

[Infused] is best used when your execute time is short or it is more important to burn the initial portion of a boss. Unlike the case of Arcane for magicka DPS being slightly weaker, Robust in comparison to Infused for Stamina DPS is a much heavier drop in damage due to the strong scaling of Weapon Damage for stamina DPS.

**QUESTION**: What should my Light Attacks per Second be as a Stamina DPS?

**ANSWER**: Anything above 0.80 LA/S is considered good. You'll want to shoot for above 0.85. Your Light Attacks per Second will be slightly lower compared to your magicka DPS counterparts especially if you're running Channeled Abilities such as Flurry or Wrecking Blow. Boss/Dungeon mechanics will of course affect your LA/s.

**QUESTION**: How big of a difference in damage is there between non-Perfected Relequen/Lokkestiiz and Perfected Relequen/Lokkestiiz?

**ANSWER**: The difference between non-Perfected and Perfected Relequen is fairly small as Max Stamina does not see large modifiers for Stamina DPS (approximately 1 to 2%). The difference between non-Perfected and Perfected Lokkestiiz is slightly larger compared to the Relequen sets as [Crit Chance] is stronger than Max Stamina (approximately 2 to 2.5%).

**QUESTION**: Are maces/mauls worth using?

**ANSWER**: Generally speaking, no. The percent penetration they provide is calculated AFTER debuffs. In an organized raid group, this means your penetration from using these weapons comes after Fracture, Alkosh, and Crusher. Thus, the penetration they provide does not boost your damage more than the bonuses from the other weapons. Refer to [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4J7DEXtBOc] - video guide on Mauls/Maces within the context of PvE by Nefas.

**QUESTION**: What Mundus Stones are best for my Stamina DPS?

**ANSWER**: Currently the [Shadow] Mundus is what you should use as a stamina DPS for Trial content, for 4-mans/Maelstrom Arena, you may need to use [Lover].

**QUESTION**: How do the different weapon types rank against each other?

**ANSWER**: Dagger is going to be the strongest, providing roughly 3 to 3.5 percent more damage. Swords will typically provide an additional 2 to 2.5 percent more damage. Axes, therefore, need to deal more than 2.5 percent of your DPS to be worth running. However, running dual axes is not advised since you cannot "stack" the bleed procs from both. Maces are not worth running in organized groups.

**QUESTION**: Do I need the axe in my main hand or can it be in the off hand?

**ANSWER**: It doesn't matter which slot you put your axe on, the proc chance for the bleed remains the same. The confusion most likely arises from the fact that you don't want [Nirnhoned] on the off hand and many people have ran Nirnhoned Axe on the main hand which is probably the cause of confusion.

**QUESTION**: How much does bash weaving do?

**ANSWER**: Typically 2-3k DPS.

**QUESTION**: Is Deadly Strikes better than Lokkestiiz on Stamina Templar?

**ANSWER*: If your Lokke uptime is low (less than 80's% or there are situations where you can't use Lokke (Maelstrom Arena) then yes.

**QUESTION**: Is Clannfear good to use on Stamina Sorcerer?

**ANSWER**: I (Kodiak) use my Clannfear almost everywhere excluding Assembly General in vHoF. The Clannfear allows Stam Sorc to be more versatile, gives you free passive damage, a good oh shit heal that doesn't cost stamina and even allows you to use the Lava Foot Soup-And-Saltrice food with a few points into health (minimum of 14 Attribute Points into Health, up to 20 if you want to play safe/no death things, this spec also saves you a lot of gold in not buying Artaeum Takeaway Broths).

**QUESTION**: Maarselok or Selene's in raids (Stamplar, Stam Sorc, etc)?

**ANSWER**: Maarselok will pull higher in raids.
